So, for this morning, I took myself a good long wee and weighed in. 266 on the dot. Not up, not down, just about the same, and I'm very much ok with that. I've started taking the supplements suggested too. Then I looked at the cost difference between the vitamin shoppe ones I got and the place he suggested. I could have gotten the same quantity for about 80% of the price... damn. But on the bright side I have them at this moment so that makes it a bit better. I found a Great Bear store (natural foods and some of that stuff) that is right by the home depot and carries the Macadamia Nut oil. I used it with the eggs this morning. I used specifically less than the amount of melted butter I used to use and it worked really well. It did have a really nice light macadamia nutty taste and so far, no complaints. I'll be giving it a shot with veggies and chicken today over lunch and we'll see how it goes. I've also decided that other than beans and peas I it doesn't make sense to do canned veggies. I can put much less effort into making frozen veggies taste good. Another interesting thing is that I woke up with no problem this morning! Well... except it was at 5:30, but I was able to get right back to sleep and popped right back awake (still bright eyed and bushy tailed) so all in all i'm happy.
